My Bio
Well, where do I start?
Born and raised in Canada, but now currently living in the United States. My family owns an Equestrian Facility. I'm an avid horse rider, animal lover, and photographer. I'm that kind of girl who would rather be in a barn than in a mall.
I have three older sisters (Jaclyn, Rickee, Emily) and one older brother (Ryan), so I'm the baby of the family. My mother died when I was three - on my third birthday actually - but my father and step-mother are still happily together.
My family owns thirteen horses, me owning three of those thirteen personally; but one in particular is my baby and has stolen my heart - James. You will see a lot of pictures of him in my Gallery. I also have five dogs (3 Golden Retrievers, 2 Boxers), six cats, and two donkeys.
Well, that's all you really need to know about me. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please feel free to ask. I don't bite. (:

No surgery! I can continue riding!

Surgery isn't needed, and my collar bone is somehow growing a new bone to fill in the gap where the other side is underneath. So.. I can ride! The bone won't be as strong as the other collar bone, but it will be fine. I'm so excited, and so is James (my horse). It's been months since he's been ridden, and I won't let my sister ride him, so he's been missing out on the excitement. My parents are of course worried to put me back on the same horse that threw me in the first place and landed on top of me, but I'm not nervous at all. More overjoyed then I am nervous.
Of course, I will be taking it easy until my legs can take holding on to the sad

Well, a few months ago while I was riding, something spooked my horse and he threw me. Well, in the attempt to gallop away, he stumbled over me and fell right on top of me. It's seriously a miracle that I am still alive, and managed to get away with a horribly broken collar bone, three broken toes, and two broken fingers. I am so lucky that I am not in a wheelchair and paralyzed. But, I will have to be having surgery on my collar bone since the break was so severe. It really doesn't hurt - except when it's going to rain outside.
I may not be able to ride again after this surgery, and I am so devastated. I will find out on May 17 if I will be

Back to Those Nice Pictures Again!

Emily, my sister, is now letting me use her Nikon camera practically full time. I can't bring it anywhere where she's not - to risk not breaking this one, too - but I am allowed to use it other then that. So I'm glad to get back to my usual, nice-looking pictures. Be prepared for some future photoshoots - something I'm going to be trying out once it gets warmer. (;
